Field Target is a new shooting sport, which is now developing very rapidly all over the world due to fewer legal limitations regarding pneumatic guns as opposed to conventional guns. However, it provides similar sensations and impressions to real hunting.
Field Target is a shooting competition involving shooting powerful pneumatic guns at metal animal silhouettes located along the so called tracks, in natural conditions simulating conditions of hunting small game. After hitting the target, i.e. the hit zone, the silhouette collapses, which means points for the shooter. The diameter of the hit zone for the target located at the distance of 10-45 m equals 1 inch (2,5 cm), which poses high requirements and evokes significant sensations for the shooter.
Technically sophisticated pneumatic guns, called PCP (eng. Pre-Charged Pneumatics) are used for Field Target, equipped with a high-class optical gun-sight, which considerably facilitates effective shooting as small and distant targets. We wish all contestants a lot of excitement.
